Mad For Metallic

Asos Skirt Madera Fashion Bodysuit | Aldo Pumps | Aldo Clutch

Hey Lovelies! I am super convinced that I'm "MAD FOR METALLIC." The holiday has come and well gone and  I'm still.... "MAD FOR METALLIC." Although this skirt was purchased during last holiday season, it did not make my Madame Smith rotation, my blog, or anything. I didn't attend many holiday festivities so that might be why it somehow got neglected. Nonetheless, I kept eyeing it in my closet the other day and decided what the heck, I'm going for it! Plus, who's rules do I follow other than my own anyway. Yes, you're sensing a little rebel tude because I can't stand it when trends try and make you feel like things in your wardrobe can't be relevant anymore due to it being from the previous season or what not. So guys,  guess what?! This two-toned party midi made it to Madame Smith's Spring 2017 lookbook unapologetically. This leopard duo (also from last season) complimented this skirt so well that I couldn't resist pairing it all together for one big metallic shebang. I was pretty sold on the gold specs in the clutch and pumps because it really gave my skirt an awesome pop.

Anywho, please forgive me and my tardiness for blogging things a season late. I'm certian I might just look like I belong at a Christmas or New Year event, but hate to break it ya, it's just a normal good ole spring day. ALSO! I thought this simple white bodysuit could help with making this look a little more spring appropriate. What do you guys think? I'm kind of thinking it does and because I don't have a super duper dressed up top, I fit in a little more with just wearing this on a normal day, as I did to brunch today. I'll admit, I constantly give away things out of my closet, but I guarantee none of this items shown above will get the boot! Each of these pieces can all be worn and paired again with other wardrobe staples to create other amazing mad for metallic looks. Stay tuned......! =-)
