Hey Lovelies! It only takes a few things in my life to make me happy; the Spring season being one, and floral prints another. 85% of Spring I'm in an overall upbeat mood. The arrival of spring brings brighter skies, blooming flowers, and new hope. It's a push start button for those searching for the light at the end of the tunnel, because spring does just that, provides just enough sunlight for brighter days. Floral has always been my association to springtime. It's almost necessary that I begin rearranging my closet and moving everything floral towards the front of my closet. Floral patterns are bold, bright, and fun; everything spring embraces for me. Since there are still a few weeks of winter, I'll be respectful and subtlety start incorporating my floral prints into my looks as I've done with this "Casual Meets Chic" look. However, they'll surely be coming in abundance sooner than soon, so consider this as your fair warning, lol.
Creating a casual meets chic, or casual chic look takes little effort, which is why I love it! Although it's confusingly paradoxical, "causal" referring to clothing like jeans or cotton t-shirts and "chic" implying sophistication or fashion forward, the two together actually embrace smart and sophisticated. Elegant, but not overdone. Tailored, but not too traditional. Paring work with play and casual with dressy. The other awesomely amazing thing about casual meeting chic is that it doesn't require a large budget; just a keen eye and some great statement pieces or accessories!
