Hey Lovelies! I had the hardest time finding a white/off-white/ivory dress this summer to attend a wedding. The bride requested that all guests in attendance wear something in that color scheme which meant I had to adhere to her request so that I wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb :). Before I go any further, I wanted to ask you guys, how common is it for a bride to request her guests to essentially coordinate with her? Initially, I was of the opinion that by wearing such a similar color to the bride, that it might take away some of her shine. However, once arriving to the wedding, I actually really loved the uniformity of all the guests. There were so many shades of whites, off-whites, ivories, and neutral tones, and it was a really beautiful site. Hmmmm, kinda gave me a creative idea for when my time comes to tie the knot...!!! Anyways, back to this little white dress.... I searched high and low to find it, but when I found her, it was love at first sight. I've never owned a Tadashi Shoji piece, but after this dress, I'm a fan for life. The cut of the dress was simply perfect. It's cut in a flattering fit-and-flare silhouette and it also has a crazy beautiful paisley lace effect, which is more visible at the very top and bottom of the dress. I love that this little touch gave the dress a super timeless and vintage feel. Although I searched for a few weeks for the perfect little white dress, I'm glad I found this little number! Some things are well worth the wait and even times, the search!
